H-1B WAGE LEVEL
What wage level is your H-1B salary?
Enter your company, job title, work location, and salary. We match your job to real DOL filings and compare your salary with this year's official wage levels.
HOW IT WORKS
Why the wage level matters
- The lottery is weighted by wage level. Starting with the FY2027 cap season, each registration gets 1 to 4 entries based on the highest OEWS wage level the offered salary meets for the job's occupation and work location.
- The occupation and location decide the thresholds. The same salary can be Level IV in one metro area and Level II in another, so we use the occupation DOL assigned to your company's matching job and its work location.
- More than one work location? The registration uses the lowest level among them.
- This is an estimate. Your employer and attorney choose the occupation and level for the actual filing, based on the job's duties and requirements. Universities and nonprofit research employers use a different (ACWIA) wage table that is not shown here.
